1986 · Our roots
A Legacy of Caring Begins
Our story traces back to the healthcare journey of Mr. Ibrahim Farook, whose dedication to serving his community laid the foundation for the values that continue to guide VitalCare today.
2011 · The beginning
From Legacy to a New Beginning
Building on this foundation, a small dental clinic was established in Malé with a single dental chair, marking the beginning of what would become VitalCare.
2017–2018 · Formal establishment
Growing Beyond Dental Care
Registered as VitalCare Pvt Ltd in 2017, the clinic expanded into multispecialty healthcare and pharmaceutical services, taking its first steps towards comprehensive care.
2020–2021 · Transformation
A New Vision for Healthcare
Under a new generation of leadership, VitalCare entered a period of transformation, introducing a refreshed identity, modern facilities, expanded specialties and a stronger focus on patient experience.
2022–2025 · Expansion
Bringing Care Closer
VitalCare continued expanding its presence across the Maldives, developing services in Kulhudhuffushi, Huvadhoo and Hulhumalé, with a growing network of specialists, diagnostics and dental services.

Reliable medicines, closer to home
The COVID-19 pandemic had a monumental impact on healthcare, with complications in dispensing adequate supplies of medicines. During this period, our pharmacy was set up, integrated with countrywide online consultations and delivery of medicines to the doorstep.
Initially started as a retail pharmacy, we expanded to become a pharmaceutical wholesaler of medicines, consumables, dental materials and medical devices. Additional outlets have been built in strategic locations for easy access. We continually enhance quality through innovation and well-known international brands.

One connected model of care
Our Malé dental setup was upgraded in 2021 to a premium seven-chaired dental clinic with specialist dentists including a maxillofacial surgeon, prosthodontist, pediatric dentist, orthodontist and general dentists, making it the largest in the country.
Our clinics are designed to address medical, dental, laboratory and pharmaceutical requirements unique to the local population, keeping services accessible and affordable. We currently have three fully fledged clinics and plan to expand to more regions.
